The association and volunteer residents work to arrange several events each season to serve as opportunities to conduct annual business and provide social events during which neighbors can have a chance to get to know each other. Events have included a Day of the Dead Welcome Back Fiesta, a Caracol Happy Hour at the Marvida Tap Room, a Taco Tuesday evening at La Calaca, and a relaxing Beach BB-Q at Cotton Cove.

Barry Blocker
Barry and his wife Andrea purchased their home in the Caracol in 2021. Barry was elected to the Board in January 2023. Barry's business background is banking and he served as Chief Financial Officer for community banks and bank holding companies. Barry also owned a business coaching company where he coached business owners for several years after retiring from the banking industry.

Jana Latham
Jana Latham has resided in the Caracol since Nov 2024, Jana has a strong sense of leadership, ideas, and follow through. She owned and operated a cooperative gallery from 2004-2016, leading and encouraging a sense of mutual engagement and support for over 40 local artists and over 145 organized art shows. In 2011 she started a successful fine art printing company that she still owns and runs, helping established and new local artists on their entrepreneurial journeys by offering guidance and producing quality products. In 2022 she started a second business of her own and currently creates and sells her own art in shows and online. “I love to support, encourage, and to help bring people and ideas together”

Victoria Lopez
Victoria and her husband Mario are fortunate to say that they've lived in the Caracol Peninsula part time since 2016. Victoria became the Treasurer in February 2024.

Cecilia Bravo
Cecilia is from Tijuana and moved to San Carlos in November 2021. She became Secretary in 2023.

Jose Quintana
Jose is from Chihuahua, Mexico. Jose accumulated 30 years of experience working for various companies. His professional expertise encompasses electrical and plumbing engineering and executing utility projects. Jose’s language skills in English and Spanish will serve him well as he volunteers with the association and board, drawing upon his experience as a homeowner on the Caracol, where he and his wife Elizabeth have fostered a profound appreciation and passion for enhancing the area's natural beauty improving the Caracol's infrastructure for the community.

Jorge Behar
Jorge and his wife Yesenia purchased their home in late 2020. In the summer of 2025, Jorge moved permanently to San Carlos. Jorge studied Engineering. He has over 30 plus years in the Oil & Gas business and still active running his own international business. Jorge came to San Carlos in 2019 for a wedding where he did not only fell in love with San Carlos but also met his love of his life. Yesenia and Jorge have 6 daughters and 2 grandchildren all together.

Martin Gallardo
Martin was born in Monterrey, Mexico where he lived for most of his life. He has been living in San Carlos since 2017. His wife is Mirna Ibarra, she was born in Hermosillo, Sonora. They have three sons and one daughter. Martin obtained a degree as a certified public accountant from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, also an MBA from Wharton School. His first job was as an accountant assistant in CYDSA, a major chemical company located in Monterrey, then worked at BANAMEX bank as a branch manager. Afterwards, he joined Grupo Industrial ALFA a Mexican conglomerate where he became the CFO. Finally, he retired from CITIBANK where he was the Investment Bank Director. As an entrepreneur he started several businesses, a sushi restaurant, travel agency and was a partner of a leasing company. He was a member of Monterrey Rotary Club for over a decade.
